Procedures and Processes
- You schedule a lesson with your selected tutor via Bookings link
- We will send an invoice when you book a lesson, payment is required before the lesson starts
- Send tutor your homework/syllabus at least 24 hours before each lesson
- Attend online lessons over video-conferencing. Each lesson is approximately 55 minutes long
- We use current material to teach learning strategies and content
- Each lesson will include some review from past lessons or material
- Tutor will send a report to parents/client after each lesson
Payment
- All payments are through Stripe, we will send an invoice to your email where you can pay.
- No Refunds
- If the tutor has an emergency and needs to cancel, they will find a time to reschedule within 3 business days
Discounts
- Each referral that leads to a first lesson will earn both clients and referrals a $20 discount on their next lesson (discounts can stack to earn free lessons).
On-Demand Lessons
- On-demand lessons can be scheduled up to 3 hours in advance depending on tutor availability
- Invoices will be sent when a lesson is scheduled.
- The tutor will send a report to the parents the evening or morning after the lesson.
- Each lesson is 55 minutes minimum. Additional time will be prorated.
Cancellation/Rescheduling
- Clients must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the lesson to avoid the cancellation fee.
- The fee is full price if less than 24 hours’ notice is given.
- If a client is more than 20 minutes late the appointment will be canceled, and the client billed for a late cancellation.
Monthly Subscription Service:
- Please let us know if you’d like to begin one of our monthly subscriptions.
- Tutoring Sessions are 55 minutes minimum. Additional time will be prorated at the hourly rate
- Any lessons you don’t have homework or a test review we’ll use to get ahead on the material or review old material
- A subscription can cover lessons in Math and Physics
Cancellation/Rescheduling
- Stripe will automatically charge the client’s card on the first of each month.
- Subscription continues until canceled. Those desiring to cancel must notify us at least 2 business days before the end of the month.
- Individual subscription lessons cannot be canceled; however, 1-3 lessons (depending on the plan) may be rescheduled per month as long as 24 hours or more of notice is given for each rescheduling.
- Holidays: We realize that there are some months with school breaks, vacations, or holidays. Let us know two days before the relevant month, and we will adjust your payment plan accordingly at the hourly rate for your plan.
Score Guarantees
We will do our best to help students, but we cannot guarantee any score or grade since that is dependent on the student’s effort. We review periodically throughout the process to see if the student is making progress.
