Tim has helped my son understand the foundations of calculus and college level physics with calculus. He is friendly and knows how to connect well with a young student.

We have been using Tim for about a month now. It’s super easy to schedule him & even get in on the same day when we need him if there is a test, studying for SAT or just help understanding homework. He takes time, works through problems & asks lots of questions.

Excellent so far! I have hired Mr. Kuhn to do twice a week one hour sessions with my son to help with Algebra. My son reports substantial progress and he is very impressed with Mr. Kuhn overall. From my side, Mr. Kuhn is very detail oriented and punctual.
Kuhn is amazing!. He has helped my daughter with her math homework. He goes over everything detailed. He had her solve the problems then explained how she came up with the answer. Yesterday 3/18/22 was our first session with Kuhn. My son said that he helped a lot with his math work and that he looks forward to his second session. Kuhn was very responsive, professional and forgiving when my son was late for the zoom meeting. Very experienced and knowledge individual that has a knack for teaching others very well. He knows how to word questions in ways that make you think about the solutions for yourself and really goes into depth onto assignments that create a solid base for the units as a whole. Would definitely recommend to anyone and is very professional to work with! (Using for AP Physics 1)
I was very nervous about doing physics tutoring through a zoom, but I can honestly say that it's been extremely efficient because of how amazing Mr. Kuhn is. I was feeling very overwhelmed and lost, but Mr. Kuhn demonstrated patience and explained/drew things in a way I could understand. If you are willing to put the work in, he will make sure you are understanding concepts. I feel very grateful to have found a tutor that has helped me become successful in a subject I was having such difficulty with. I cannot recommend him enough! I have maintained my A 5 weeks into this class and plan to continue hiring him until the end!

Tim was an excellent tutor for physics and math. He helped me really understand multi-variable calculus and differential equations. He was also a big help with my Engineering Dynamics and physics classes. One thing I loved was that he remembered the basic algebra and trigonometry really well so he could help me when I forgot. He was great about asking me questions and helping me figure out the problems for myself. I felt like he helped me build my understanding of the calculus and physics concepts so that I was eventually able to solve the problems on my own. I highly recommend Tim as a math and physics tutor.
